Learning to drive in Stamford

Stamford is an excellent place to begin learning to drive, with a variety of road conditions that suit the novice driver and allow progression in relatively quiet road conditions. Unfortunately, there isn't a DSA test centre nearby and so candidates will need to consider taking their tests in Peterborough or Grantham. This isn't a problem though, as at AMS Driving School we would encourage you to experience driving in as many different locations as possible prior to your test. Given the proximity to test centres we would normally recommend lessons that are a minimum of two hours duration. This will allow you to spend the majority of your lesson time driving and will ensure that you progress at a good pace.
